2.284. Lillahi ma fii alssamawatiwama fii al-ardi wa-in tubduu ma fiianfusikum aw tukhfuuhu yuhasibkum bihi Allahufayaghfiru liman yaschao wayuAAadhdhibu man yaschaowaAllahu AAala kulli schay-in qadiirun
2.284. Unto Allah (belongeth) whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and whether ye make known what is in your minds or hide it, Allah will bring you to account for it. He will forgive whom He will and He will punish whom He will. Allah is Able to do all things. (Pickthall)
2.284. Allahs ist, was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist, und ob ihr sichtbar macht, was in euren Seelen ist, oder ihr es geheimhaltet, zieht euch Allah dafür zur Rechenschaft Also verzeiht Er, wem Er will, und Er straft, wen Er will, und Allah ist zu allem imstande. (Ahmad v. Denffer)
2.284. Allah gehört (alles), was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist. Und ob ihr offenlegt, was in euch selbst ist, oder es verbergt, Allah wird euch dafür zur Rechenschaft ziehen. Dann vergibt Er, wem Er will, und straft, wen Er will. Und Allah hat zu allem die Macht. (Bubenheim)
2.284. Gott gehört alles, was es in den Himmeln und auf Erden gibt. Ob ihr eure Absichten äußert oder verborgen haltet, sie entgehen Gott nicht, und Er zieht euch zur Rechenschaft. Er begnadigt, wen Er will und bestraft, wen Er will. Gottes Allmacht umfasst alles.

Tafsir von Maududi für die Ayaat 284 bis 284
To Allah belongs whatever ( 333 ) is in the heavens and the earth. ( 334 ) " Allah will call you to account for what is in your minds whether you disclose it or hide ( 335 ) it. He, however, had full authority to pardon or punish anyone He pleases, for Allah has complete power over everything. ( 336 )
Desc No: 333 In the concluding portion of the Surah, the basic creeds of Islam have been stated just as they were stated at its beginning. Therefore it will be useful to compare verses 284-285 with vv, 1-4.
Desc No: 334 This is the first article of Faith. The acceptance of the tact that Allah is the Master of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, leaves no alternative for man but to submit to Him.
Desc No: 335 In this sentence two more articles of Faith have been stated. First, every person is individually responsible and accountable to Allah for his actions. Second, the Sovereign, to whom man is accountable for his actions, has full knowledge of what is hidden and what is open; He even knows those intentions and thoughts that are hidden in the heart.
Desc No: 336 It means that Allah is the absolute Sovereign and not a constitutional ruler. His powers are not bound by any law so as to force Him to act in accordance with it. He is the sole Master and has full authority to punish anyone or to forgive anyone He wills.
