33.57. Diejenigen, die Allah und Seinem Gesandten Leid zufügen, verflucht Allah im Diesseits und Jenseits, und für sie hat Er schmachvolle Strafe bereitet.
3.78. Wa-inna minhum lafariiqan yalwuunaalsinatahum bialkitabi litahsabuuhu minaalkitabi wama huwa mina alkitabiwayaquuluuna huwa min AAindi Allahi wama huwa minAAindi Allahi wayaquuluuna AAala Allahi alkadhibawahum yaAAlamuuna
3.78. And Lo! there is a party of them who distort the Scripture with their tongues, that ye may think that what they say is from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture. And they say: It is from Allah, when it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie concerning Allah knowingly. (Pickthall)
3.78. Und von ihnen gibt es bestimmt einen Teil, die ihre Zungen bei der Schrift verbiegen, daß ihr es für von der Schrift haltet, und es ist nicht von der Schrift, und sie sagen: "Es ist von Allah", und es ist nicht von Allah, und sie sagen über Allah die Lüge, und sie wissen es. 3.78. Einige unter ihnen verdrehen mit ihrer Zunge die Schrift, um euch zu täuschen, damit ihr glaubt, es sei aus der Schrift. Doch es ist nicht aus der Schrift. Sie behaupten: "Das kommt von Gott." Doch es kommt nicht von Gott. Sie schreiben Gott wissentlich ihre Lügen zu.

Tafsir von Maududi für die Ayaat 78 bis 78
There are among them some people, who, in reading the Book, twist their tongues in a way to make you think that what they read is a part of the Book, whereas, in fact it is not a part of the Book. ( 66 ) They also assert, "What we are reading is from Allah," when in fact it is not from Allah. They knowingly ascribe the lie to Allah.
Desc No: 66 Taken figuratively the Arabic Text may also imply that they turn away from the right meaning of the Book or twist the words out of Context and pervert the meaning. But the real meaning of the Text is this: while reading the Book, they twist with their tongues certain words or sentences that are against their selfinterest or self-invented religious beliefs or theories. Thus they change the meanings so as to mislead people into mental errors or false judgments or wrong religious beliefs. It is an irony that some people sometimes treat the Qur'an itself in the same way. For instance, those people who believe in the Holy Prophet to be superhuman twist verse 110 of chapter XVIII with their tongues and read it The first and correct reading means, "Say, (O Prophet), I also am a man like yourselves," while the second reading perverts the meaning thus: "Say, (O prophet), indeed' 1 am not a man like yourselves. "
